Buckley is giving Vicente a run for his money in which albion player I would let do naughty things to me......
What with Calde in the squad.

Kind and gentle but with the capacity to ram it home El Abd style

Absolutely star player!
And as you say Bladders, deceptively fast.

What i remember from last season though, he seemed to have more impact on a game when he came on in the 70th minute than when he started a game.
Perhaps due to lack of starts - what do you think?

Buckley is my current FAVE. He is just SO bloody quick without even looking like he's trying to be, It's terrifying.

But then, to be fair, He could have done NOTHING after that Donny game and I would still GUSH about him.

I think Buckley will become an Albion legend already is in my eyes even named my dog after him

I saw this the other day. I'm working on some digital content for a dog training company (the things I do for cash, jeez...) and the dog in the examples I've used is now called Buckley...

I don't get the question? We have signed a keeper, a left back and right back, Vicente is still with us and you are not sure whether Buckley will be a regular starter? Or that will he be a regular in the team once Rhodes,Owen,Heskey and Santa Cruz signs?

I love Buckley but unfortunately he is better coming off the bench. Maybe with pre-season and a starting role from season kick-off he will be fit enough to show his best form.

Possibly our best player, and definitely made the biggest attacking contribution of anyone last season.

He is a gem.

Alongside The Dagger he was Albion's most exciting player last season, without him we could have. Een 10 or 12 points worse off. I would love to see him tried up front as he played there early in his career, very composed in front of goal, massive future!!

Since I moved to the Czech Republic last year, I've been dragging my Czech friends (oh go on then, my "Czech mates") to the pubs whenever Brighton have been on Sky. One of them in particular is a seriously impressive football nerd, and he quickly picked out Buckley as one of our stars without any prompting from me. His other favourite player is now CMS, but he's not seen Vicente play for us yet!

It's nice when you manage to convert someone to the cause, isn't it? My friend made me promise to take him to match some day because he wants to see Buckley play in real life, he's convinced he's gonna be a superstar and my mate wants to be able to say he saw him before that. Gonna be difficult to arrange tickets, some of my Brighton mates I've lost touch with over the years might be getting emails out of the blue in the autumn!

Buckley is one of the best players to play for the Albion in years although he rarely stars away from home (Peterboro an exception). If he stays injury free he could be immense this season.

Don't forget KLL. A similarly exciting player in my view.

He was my favourite player last year. No doubt about it. If only he had the last minute chance against Burnley, we would have rescued a point.
