Will Buckley - Just how good is he?

An absolutely awesome display tonight from our flying winger. At times he made the Toon's full-backs look positively pedestrian which is pretty good going for Championship player. Just imagine how much our squad is likely to be improved with the addition of a skillful target man to play alongside CMS, with Buckley raiding from either flank. The mind boggles.

Let's hope that we don't attract a bid for Buckley before the transfer window shuts - not that there will be many clubs, I suspect, who'll be able to meet our valuation, which is surely growing by the game. In fact, I'll stick my neck out and say now that I think that Buckley will prove to be one of best signings over the last 40 years.

Best player in years. Zamora never really got the chance to prove himself in the championship with us, Buckley already has.

We will struggle to keep hold of him. If he could keep himself fit he would walk into most teams in the premiership.
