The truth will out, and I imagine Wilkins will know the answer as soon as anyone, as to whether he's going to succeed and enjoy the job.
Let it be his decision as much as DKs, I trust that integrity is the backbone of this club as it has been ever since it was wrested from the spineless.

It's not the result, it's the performance. Yes we never expected to beat Southend as they're obviously in a much better league above us but we were leading until the last 4 minutes.

If we'd shown some guts and determination against Carlisle and still lost then fine, so be it. But by all accounts we played terribly.

I agree, he's got to go. Well not go exactly but go back to being coach.

FFS - you've banged on about MM being forced out and how good he was and shouldn't have gone. Yet you now want the top job taken away from DW after only a handful of games. Remarkable.

Let him have the job for the rest of the season - at least then he can show what he can do in the transfer market in January. Then he can be judged fairly.

Some people need to calm down and become realistic - we're not entitled to win every game whatever league we're in !!!!

WRONG.......there are a number of EXPERTS such as Dwayne on NSC who are very good at Championship Manager, and ALWAYS win every game. The fact that their knowledge of real football was learned on the back of a postage stamp, along with their understanding of finance, should of course be ignored.

Wilkins out

I think he's had enough time to be homnest bring in a new man now and get the team flying again.

No doubt old wendy will live of giving Orient the worst team in the division a 4-1 tonking and mudd;le through the rest of the season, yesterday wasn't the end of the world but i feel there will be far to many games like yesterday under wilkins - send him back to bring the youth through and get a real Manager like Ranieri in as i hear he's intrested.

Do behave, No manager is going to get this squad "Flying". Without a good expereinced striker we are going to be midtable, exactly what Wilkins is delivering.

Carlisle are likely to be in the play offs this season , do you really think its that bad a result considering the squad we have?

Ahh, I've missed your dulcit tones. We lost yesterday, so I suppose it was fairly obvious you were going to go online...

It must be great living in your universe. All of life's ills and woes have such a simple, carefree answer to them, so that, with a wave of a magic wand, everything becomes alright again.

Bless.

I couldn't put the blame for yesterday's defeat at Wilkins door. The fact is the palyers were awful, even simple technique like trapping the ball and passing to your own players was beyond them yesterday. El Abd in particular was a complete embaressment.

I think Wilkins made the right subs at half time to have a look at Molango but he isn't the solution that performance. The reality is the team is too young to challenge teams like Carlisle. The fact that we didn't know what to do when they started pressing us in defence in our own half when we had the ball just smacked of inexperience.

On the official site, Dean Wilkins is quoted as having said, "We are conceding too often." How uncanny is that? I myself was wondering whether conceding too many goals might be connected with our having lost three consecutive matches.
