I do not think many managers could get our current squad to play attractive football on a regular basis. Without any investment on the playing side the team will slip down the table no matter who is in charge.

I agree but it appears that DW is going the way of Sven and rather than pick a formation that the players know and stick with it come rain or shine, he has got a group of players in his own mind, and is trying to make a formation to include those players.

Today it was ridiculous to start with a 4 - 3 -3 formation, assuming that was what it was supposed to be, against a team playing 4 - 4- 2 as you concede too much of the ball in midfield.
