Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
Ask the Woking fans

See Darius Henderson. ;)

I think he has time on his side and plenty to give. He was thrown in at the deep end in the relegation season and scored a few in a difficult period last season. He might not be the quickest, but he seems to have a good footballing brain and can hold the ball up well. I don't think he deserves to be written off just yet!

What is key here is that we have a much better squad, so therefore when he brings a sub on they are likely to be a quality player that can actually make a difference, something we haven't really had for a while. When opposing teams look at our bench and see Doug Loft on it they shit themselves.

Don't forget Port Vale away where he put Elder on who subsequently helped us score. This season, I think he's been excellent overall. He did have this annoying habit of leaving things far too late, and that still shows up every so often (ie Leeds), but generally he's improving. 5 games this season have been altered in a positive way thanks to subs - you can't argue with that.

Tardy-ness is an applicable issue. He always leaves it way too late to change a game that obviously cries out for it.

Loft would be free from criticism if his name was Nathan Elder.

shame he was WANK today - i have never seen a man put a ball over the stand from a position in which most strikers would score

last season i thoigh loft HAD to go. but having seen him come on in the last two games and change them, i thinkl he can offer something

when we are at home and NEED to attack, i would rather see him start over fraser, or even cox on the left

I think his tactics at half-time yesterday were shocking. We played really good stuff in the first half and then he switched everything to a very narrow formation which meant the front two had to play very wide and we pretty much invited a poor team to attack us

I think it had mixed results. Cox was far more involved and dangerous once we switched to the diamond, but when Savage came on it seemed he and Forster were playing very wide with Cox pushed right up through the middle. Which made no sense to me, and resulted in us losing the ball to frequently when we got forward, which almost let Cheltenham snatch something.

obviously i wasnt there last night, but the way cox has been performing this season has been pretty poor - whereas loft has been pretty good

ever watched loft playing for the reserves , i have and in my opinion he looks good , tackles hard, pacey with a good shot . but of course the 1st team is a big step up, i think he will break into the 1st team this season maybe not 1st choice but will get a chance to prove his worth, or not as the case may be , not that i am one to sut on the fence lol
