Disappointing BHA meet desperate Wigan at the DW Stadium on Saturday. Albion 19th may not be caught by Wigan 23rd, but we still need a few more points to secure our championship survival for certain. If Wigan lose the match then they will be relegated & given that they are currently 24th in the league (in form) over the past 6 matches, who would think that they could win? Not that the seagulls are doing much better, only having secured 5 points in our past 6 games, compared to Wigan's 2.
With Wigan not winning a home game since August, surely we won't let them get the 3 points? Though with the defensive tactics of our manager & our forwards continued inability to score - no goals scored at all in 4 matches, what odds would one give for a stale mate 0-0 again?
Head to head we have only met 13 times, with 7 wins, 1 draw & 5 defeats. A match has never ended 0-0 .......
As for last night make no bones about the score. If Huddersfield could have finished we easily could have lost that match 2 or 3-0, but they are where they are & so are we. Personally (though maybe a bit controversial) I have no issue or problem with any fan booing. We pay our tickets & entitled to our opinions, whether cheering or booing - the players need to know!
27 Pollsters correctly predicted the 0-0. Well done. At least the Score Predictor is giving us some entertainment unlike our forward line up! 12 people can still win the compo.
