Would that explain why he was massively overrated BEFORE going to Man United as well?

"Massively overrated" yet capable of dragging a team through the playoffs into the Premier League almost single handedly. Wilfried is the most naturally brilliant footballer I've ever seen at Palace. The things he can do with the ball at his feet are remarkable and the Championship won't see a more talented player for a decade.

If Wilf comes back, we stay up. :clap2:

This rumour did the rounds about 2 months ago. Zaha denied having even met David Moyes' daughter and it seems like malicious gossip. I think more likely they don't feel Zaha is ready to play regular first team football there as is still quite raw. Added to which, he plays in the same position as Adnan Januzaj who has been one of the few players there to have performed well this season.

This. One if the United coaches said he needed to improve on his mental strength if he wants to regular put on the United top.

Makes sense, his head was so far up his arse!

Can you blame him? He went from playing against lower league minnows in the Championship who could only stop him by kicking him to facing top quality defenders in the Premiership who actually have a chance of taking the ball away from him. Wilfried had the easiest two years that he will ever have in 2012 and 2013. He was the best player in the division by a country mile, it's no surprise that he developed an ego. Now he's a little fish in an extremely big pond and he hasn't gotten used to it yet.

Sure sign of the madness of the modern game if a club can pay ten million quid for a player and not let him anywhere near the first team and not even farm him out (yet) either. No wonder the player, who is a young and highly-promising prospect (and who ripped the Albion's dreams to shreds last season, lest we forget) - must be going a bit head-mental, with or without the Moyes daughter sideshow. Never mind Palace, get him in at the Amex on loan this month!

What is strangest is SAF signing him in the first place having already decided to retire, and then lending Wilf back to Palace, so he would never have him play in his own team.

It's the equivalent of having a dump in the cistern on the day you have sold your house, and waiting for the new owners to discover it when it stinks the house out in due course.

Good to see a mod lifting the moratorium on mentioning Palarse and the 'd' word in the same post.

Has anyone set up a parody twitter account for Moyes' daughter yet? That would be quite funny. Oh.

Yes, funnily enough about two-three months ago when these rumours started, very funny tweets.

Better to send him on loan to a Championship team where he is proven. At this stage of his career, the Premier League has proved too much. The only time he appears to have scored is with the manager's bonnie wee daughter.

Spoke about this with a Man U fan today, he said a club rumour that Wilf tried it on with Moyes' daughter, so has been barred from the team. Would explain why he's gone off the rails a bit.

Wouldn't seem to have much of a future at Old Trafford if true though.

2013 called..they want their thread back.
