After seeing the games on sky over the weekend we are the only team that can defend. Blackburn and Blackpool have both looked awful at the back. Still 8-1 around for us to win the league lump on.

I didn't think we defended that well on Saturday given the goal conceded and that we had to thank Tomasz fort keeping us in it.
Calm down and wait until March/April before getting too excited !

We've had a consistent back four of recent, With Greer and AEA, Bridge and Bruno and we've always got KOOSH to rely on if they do get past.

We conceded 3 live on sky to a team in a lower league.
We've had a consistent back 6 and that's the key. It gives the front 5 more leeway to go forward (not that Bridge and Bruno haven't been doing that too).

You'd expect us to beat Birmingham and Ipswich but after that we have a tough run with Derby, Boro, Blackpool, Leicester and Leeds back to back, then a breather against Peterboro before Wolves, Huddersfield and Bolton.
If we're Top 2 after Bolton game on 24 November then I'll really fancy us, but things could be different if we lose Kusczak or CMS for 4 or 5 matches. Still early days...

To add a spanner in that is not - its a long season. Blackburn and Blackpool both have much bigger budgets than us come January.

We have certainly played the best footy so far, from the live and telly games I have seen.

I will join the excitement if we keep this up till christmas, but i seam to remember being exactly in this position this time last year?!

We were absolutely not in this position this time last year. This time last year whenever the opposing team came in to our third of the pitch everyone panicked.
