Anyone else that Leon had a £200 wager with Virgs that by Xmas he would be ahead of Virgo by 5 goals.

His one failure todaywas the control of the ball when he wqas through on the keeper. He put it too far forward. Apart from that he looked sharp, good touch and willing to play for the team.
I get pissed off with the amount of tossers in the crowd who get on his case. No-one bollock Cullip for the bad positioning for the third goal.
I beleive Leon will soon start to bang them in, and maybe devlop a good understanding with Virgs.

I can see him getting that £200 - there must be about 8 games before Christmas, and the way he's playing at the moment, I can easily see him getting 5 in 8. Especially if he gets a new striker in to help.

b.w.2. said:I also agree that him playing alongside Virgo means that he is sometimes missing out on a natural centre forward's knock-downs during a game... and I'm NOT having a pop at Virgs here, because I know he is giving his all... just know that we definitely need a "proper" target man (as does MM)...
