Why no thread on the Newcastle hooligans?

Some people wanted to throw Millwall out of the league for what turned out to be idiot drunks. Newcastle had 27 arrested, major organised disturbances and hooligans punching horses. Should they not be forced to play games behind closed doors. Is the NSC silence because a journalist has not done an undercover report to make Newcastle the name automatically linked with hooliganism?

In the last 3 games Newcastle have played away at Sunderland, there has been a total of 85 arrests. This occasion only has media coverage due to Millwall the day before, both clubs have their fare share of hooligans - every club does.

Newcastle had one of the top firms in the country in the 70's and 80's. Going up there then apparently was a very frightening experience.

These days they resort to punching police horses. Wow, that's brave.

But that cant be right because the media image of Newcastle is a wonderful club, with wonderful fns and NSC tell us that as well, however you seem to suggest they have a large thug element ? Again this cant be right because NSC think that only Millwall have the bogey men (well except our hooligans but they are "not as bad" apparently) and only Millwall should have to play games behind closed doors?

You're absolutely right. NSC was completely silent. Apart from the thread about the Geordie hooligans, of course.

Please carry on though. I cant wait to see you how you wangle that story about your ancestor being stationed at the Goldstone in WWI or our magnificent Charity Shield victory in 1910 into this thread.

I don't know what point you're trying to make but the only thing I will say is the lot that caused trouble on Saturday and Sunday would not last five minutes with a Millwall or Newcastle firm from the peak of hooliganism. They'd run away crying after a couple of punches taken.

Its interesting when you compare the tone and number of posts of the thread about Millwall compared to Newcastle. It shows the power of the press on influencing people.

You really are a total bell end are you not? Well if you wanted a response to your ridiculous ramblings you got one, laughter at your stupidity. Can I listen to you every week?
