Just been looking through the newsgroups and it occurred to me that there is no Albion newsgroup. There was a group dedicated to frog jumping (rec.sport.frog-jumping) but nothing for Brighton which surprises me. In uk.sport.football.clubs there's a group for Bradford City, Wimbledon, Leeds, Sunderland among others but why nothing for us. Yes I know we've had North Stand Chat since 1997 and the Seagulls mailing list from years back (unsure when it started) but the bigger the Seagull presence on the net the better.

Actually looking through uk.sport.football and rec.sport.soccer is very nostalgic. There's the report on the York "riot", the match report from the Leicester Coca Cola Cup match in 1994, the Bring Home The Albion campaign, and reports going back at least 13 years...
PLYMOUTH 2-0 BRIGHTON
Steve Moran and Adrian Burrows hit the goals to end Brighton's recent run of success and earn the Pilgrims three vital points at Home Park.
Morgan put the Devon club ahead after 17 minutes when he side-footed Kevin Hodges' cross past Perry Digweed. And Burrows header assured Plymouth's second victory in 16 matches. John Byrne had the Seagulls' best chance in the second half but his six yard effort was turned over by Rhys Wilmot.
Check out the newsgroups sometime, fascinating stuff. Nostalgia ain't like it used to be...
