Scratch no longer. His mother left Germany when she was four, but he is investigating the possibility of becoming a German citizen, so Hampshire would be able to sign an overseas player next season. The limitations have changed to one non-EU resident only in the team.

I think there was something last weekend along the lines that Germany has said he has a right to apply for a German passport, but he will have to give up his Australian Citizenship in the process, so it is unlikely he will go ahead with this plan now.
