Why does a 2-2 draw leave you feeling sort of empty?

Had lovely evening! 2 bottles of red, romantic meal with wife and then she said "my love your mind is else where why don't you find out the result" Now I feel kinda of empty! 3rd bottle of red 'smiling at me' Why oh Why?

If you'd watched/listened, you'd be happy with a point. Poor performance by recent standards.

I know but I needed to score 'brownie points'
I wasn't having a dig at all, no need to make excuses. Just telling you that we were poor and getting a point was a result in the end, and doesn't make me feel empty.

That makes me feel better. To much wine blurs the old vision! So very proud of my team and can't believe how far we have come in such a short period of time!

gunna sound like a grumpy old man but we played shit! the formation what was it ? as for the subs gus got them all wrong IMO & everyone around me, starting 11 bad choice, we just couldnt tackle / didnt tackle them instead of running to the ball closing down, we let them dominate the game and attack us every way pos, I really dont get why gus doesnt use 2 wingers at a time as in lualua, noone, buckly or vicente not 1 of them plus barnes as he is wank, same with nav sorry but why is he still in the team? yes he scored a goal last game but he does nothing in most of the games he plays & today he made so many mistakes its unreal, dunky had really bad game also hope greer and el abd pair up for liverpool.

Im going to bed.

Rivals Cardiff, Blackpool, Reading, MBoro ... would have been chuffed with our awful HOME result against a team having a nightmare season.
2 relatively easy points well & truely lost.

true, but we were lucky, we didn't deserve to pull it back level on either occasions at all.

I feel empty because we were poor and Millwall this season are shite.

Ditto the above when we went up there earlier in the season too.

We should really be taking 3 points off of them, home and away.

cos we were shite and played 433 and looked completely clueless - 2-2 was a result we were lucky. We should have destroyed then they are a sh ite team.

Is true.

All this crap that they are fighting for their lives. We know that, but that is true of all bottom say 8 clubs. With the money and talent in the Albion squad, and the momentum and home advantage, we should fight like dogs and be ruthless.

They out passed, outran, out tacticed, a poor Albion selection, formation and most performances.

Its because we are on such a good run, we almost took for granted this as 3 points in the bag. When you have beaten Newcastle, Leeds, Southampton and Leicester recently we thought we would plow through them. But a point is a point. Hull, much like Leeds will be a massive game.

Why no wingers ?

We only picked up a little when Noone & LuaLua were introduced.

Not quite true. Noone was as anonymous as I've ever seen him. Obviously still rusty from being out for a while.

Milwall played well tonight, and weren't too bad against us at the den either - and we had an off night. But we dug in and got a point in a game we deserved to lose, and that shows I think that we're a better side than earlier in the season.

We can't pass like that again though - right through the team and Dunkie will learn a thing or two about tonight! Still unbeaten in ten so let's hope the glass half empty brigade don't go too overboard. Barnes seems to be the fall guy tonight judging by another predictably shite thread, and the booing when Navarro was man of the match was disappointing, regardless of what people thought. He won the game for us only three days ago, after all!
