[Albion] "Why didn't we go after Potter when we had the opportunity ?"

Less than three weeks ago a large number of NSC posters decided GP was virtually unemployable above Championship level or abroad at some mickey mouse club and wanted him replaced with, well pretty well anyone whose name wasn’t Potter :lolol:

Fans are as fickle as most billionaire chairmen it seems and this includes some NSC mods

TB listened to his customers. ME:lolol:

Its always good to get real feedback, even if you don't like it.:)

He was fed up with the bland football which meant we would have ended up being a West Brom and bouncing about.

So he clearly set out to find someone who has more than one string to his bow, so we can stand a chance of becoming established in the Premier League and within touching distance of the big 5/6.

I thought that was the thinking of the Potter Out brigade on here.

I think that is a bit unfair on people. I was a Potter in but with a but. He needed to sort out leaking goals by set pieces and sort out our strikers. Equally I pointed out fairly that the midfield was the best I have ever seen at the Albion and truly superb. Potter changed the keeper and that seems to have sorted the defence. As for strikers, well, I still cant believe they cant work on it in training. If not then if the club can afford it, they need to buy one when they can. I think the fans were absolutely right to point out the good, the bad and the ugly. I don't see ehy anyone has to join an "in" or "out" tribe. How aboiut judge it all on its merits?

Brighton factually.....
West Brom are the very definition of a Yo Yo club ( which isnt a terrible thing )

Must say that I thought Fat Sam would get them going but what's struck me seeing him this time round is how much of a dinosaur he really is.

He’s always been a dinosaur interested only in lining his own pockets, it’s not like he has anything to prove.
Greed, there’s a reason he’s called fat Sam....

But then again (and I may be wrong, it has been known) I don't think the majority of WBA fans wanted Bilic binned either - he did get them promoted after all. I doubt many of them were clamouring for the appointment of BFS while Bilic was in the hotseat.

I had a quick butcher's at some WBA forums when Bilic got the push: there was almost universal support for him (remember, he was fired just after a draw with Citeh). I didn't have a look when BFS was appointed but, from what I've seen since, I can't say that he can expect many Christmas cards from Baggies fans later this year.

Dan Ashworth IS at THE Albion :moo:

One thing I’ve noticed when browsing Twitter etc when we play them is how petty and bitter they are with our name. ‘Fake Albion’ etc etc - knobheads

Prob wasn’t helped with the Bong / knobhead incident a few years ago but very bitter fans I’ve seen there.
