Pretty much every Uber in Brighton seems to have its private hire license from Chichester (easy to notice as the license plate on the back is yellow). How come? Is it piss easy to get licensed in Chichester? Cheaper? Are there no licenses left available in Brighton?

A few years ago Uber had their licence to operate in Brighton revoked by the Council. Not sure if it was ever reinstated but that might explain it.

@BNthree - it's close to impossible to get a B&H licence - loads of Adur and Lewes Uber cabs too.
