I voted Baleba because he is the only one that if he is missing I worry!

I was thinking about this earlier.
Usually at this stage of the season there are one or two standout candidates. But in this injury hit season, most of the candidates have had a bit of time out or a quieter spell in their recovery or just because they've played too many games.
So I think there are about 4 realistic candidates, and i'm not ruling out more making a late dash. The five I have in mind are .....
Van Hecke. Rock solid and consistent all season, wins countless headers. Maturing into a real leader in that back line
Baleba has been terrific and played a lot of games for us. At times, a little showboaty for my liking, but his ability over the ground and willingness to cover opposition runs is priceless to us
Mitoma. Odd as he probably hasn't been as good as last year overall. But so often it's him with the threat of his pace and skill threat pulls defenders out of position late in games.
Welbeck. His all round game has been a joy and he comes up with crucial goals
Georginio and Joao Pedro could both make a late charge.
A tough call. But i'm giving it to Carlos Baleba

Danny Welbeck for me.
Crucial goals. We play better with him at #9.
Consumate professional. Played under Ferguson and Wenger. In consequence, he looks absolutely joyful to be playing football at this level for this club.
Many may have thought that he came here for a sinecure for the spavined.
Like Milner.
But no. His contribution has been tangible and immense.
You can imagine what a tremendous role model he is and how, as a senior pro he could (if required) shut down any billy big bollocks pish.

Not surprised by the early poll results so far.
Baleba has probably been our *best* player. He's just ridiculously good. Better than Caicedo IMO - and more fun to watch.
Welbeck is having his best season for us so far, scoring some crucial, important and brilliant goals - not to mention his influence and role modelling in the dressing room and in the stands.
I voted for Georginio - purely because he's a breath of fresh air. A bit of a geek, yet absolutely flair on the ball. Pops up with immense skill, every game, and ball sticks to him like glue. It's been beautiful to watch.
I added the imperious van Hecke to the poll as he has been brilliant his season, as well as the legendary Mitoma who has scored goals this season that will be remembered for the rest of time.
I'm sad that Minteh hasn't had any votes so far, as he's improved so much and has been so important this season.
