How far did the good people of the Sussex Ambulance Service (or whatever they're called) transport those who'd taken an unfortunate pounding? I always liked to think they'd make it to the Surrey border and turf them out with a cheery "Good luck chap".
Hopefully football has moved on from puerile chants . Especially now a lot more kids attend games at the Amex, I don't miss that type of chant at all.
It used to be 'Oh my, what a referee'. Folk felt more comfortable using public explicits about the time Channel 4 turned up.
