Do we have to past a reply to say 'seconded' or just give a thumbs up?
it would be easier for me if it was in a posted reply if I'm honest, especially when there's more than 1 player in a post

Paddy McCourt - I refuse to believe he actually signed a contract

Seconded. Scorer of one of the Amex's best ever goals (against us) and looked like he slept in a ditch. Recent sexual assault charge (for what he claims was an accidental brush of a girl's arse, in a pub) probably not going to help his campaign.

Alan Biley

Seconded. Ridiculous hair. Ridiculous levels of (un)professionalism. Extra points for joining from a local rival where he was adored - most importantly he allegedly had to leave Pompey in a hurry, after being caught bedding the chairman's wife...

Mauricio Tarricco - again because every time he played it just felt so INFORMAL - Gus asking if he fancied a game that day, Tarricco seeing it would be a spicy one (Southampton away) and saying go on then.

Seconded. Quiet mentalist.

Percey Tau

Absolutely insane transfer saga for such a mediocre player. Quite skillful but never seemed to really fit in, f***ed off almost immediately

Leon Knight

Complete controversy magnet. Non stop drama and absolutely ticks the unfulfilled potential box

Tau - meh

Knight - seconded. Absolute scrote

George O'Callaghan

Maverick midfielder who strolled around the middle of the pitch. Absolutely slated the club when he left, seemed to disappear without a trace.

Kemy Agustin

Fun time tubster. Didn't seem to give one solitary shit about anything. Pretty skillful but showed no desire to show it. Also had a red beard for a bit?

George - 100% seconded. Absolute legend

Agustien can get in the sea.

Nzuzi Toko, genuinely could have been sent 4 times in the only 20 minutes I ever witnessed him play a competitive game for us.

Yes, yes, yes. Seconded. Great night at Burton, that.

Colin Kazim-Richards

So, so lazy to the point that the bit in with Withdean Years DVD about him had that David Byrne lazy song playing in the background. Scored about 5 goals but they were all absolutely amazing. Signed in an unusual way, has had an absolutely mental post-Albion career. Allegedly turned up to training one day wearing a t shirt with his own face on it.

Federico Turienzo

Near mythical forward who inspired the whole flair movement. The ultimate latino stallion. Was an early example of the "don't trust a youtube compilation" trend. Lovely flowing locks

Jonny Dixon

model/music producer/tv producer who fancied a go at playing football. His contract signing seemed to interfere with a skiing jaunt judging by the chunky knit jumper he rocked up in. Did very little of note of course but did famously go out with Holly Valance, which now probably has a different level of meaning to what it did the last time we did this!

Jonny Dixon is seconded, purely on the basis that on the back of matchday programs, he had the SPAIN flag next to his name, which at the time seemed terribly EXOTIC amongst the wall-to-wall English and Irish ones.

I'd like to second Anthony Knockaert. A great mix of being a) a great footballer, b) a complete wildcard on his day, c) an absolute box of flair as a winger, d) typically temperamental

I'll also add in Calderon because he's so good he could even score with his face, and Jurgen Locadia because he was signed for masses of cash, got a hefty contract and was (just about) a better DJ than footballer.

really not keen on Calderon for this, but can definitely second Locadia

Does Ali J fit into the flair category?

Beautiful hair on a beautiful man.

Described as the Iranian Messi he clearly had a velvet touch and incredible technique.

He came to us in one of the all time great signing saga's and with an army of Iranian fanboys and a huge amount of hype and expectation after his exploits in Holland only to consistently promise a lot but deliver very little. Only scored a handful of goals - cried like a baby after his first and then scored an absolute worldy with his second before vanishing back into the shadows.

Bought for about 17million we sold him for 1m? Thus making a huge loss financially whilst he delivered minimally on the pitch. Maybe it was his signing and Albion career that made Tony Bloom review/refine/sort out the magical algorithm that got us Ally Mac, Caicedo et al.

Not sure he was particularly controversial of the pitch though. If it turns out that he was Shane Duffy's number one drinking partner and he had a threesome with the big man and a local married strumpet whilst dressed as the krankies then he could be a winner.

Im surprised LuaLua isn’t on here yet, especially because of his recent move to Charlton

The hair, the hype of his loan and later tenure, the mass brawls
  • The celebration.
  • The fact he could look very clumsy and poor or brilliant and completely unstoppable at any one time.
  • Hitting a free kick so hard the camera didn't keep up with it on one goal I remember.
  • The stepover and drive to the byline for a cross you knew was coming but the opposition couldn't stop.
  • His first name is KAZENGA.

I swear Warren called him LuaLuaLua once as well.
