I'm proud to say I've only seen one premiership game, and only a couple of England games.

I remember seeing Keegan & Shilton for Southampton when I was a kid & they were both class. But I was probably a bit young to remember that well.

So for me, step forward David Rocastle. I saw Arsenal V Coventry in 89 (I think). Arsenal won 2-0, and Rocky was different gravy. RIP Rocky

Difficult to decide. I went with my ex husband to West Ham v Leeds 1969 when Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst, Jackie Charlton, Norman Hunter, Terry Cooper, Billy Bremner etc were all on the pitch together. All internationals and some the backbone of the England squad 1970.

On balance, I would say Bobby Moore.

Some others at the Goldstone: Ray Kennedy (Liverpool), Trevor Brooking (West Ham), but I still plump for Mark Lawrenson (Brighton).

henry, bergkamp, gazza

saw a young wright phillips but he hadnt quite matured and also saw beckham in the same match but that was more a star spotting rather than a footballing talent
