Me!!!! Going to Hard Rock Calling on Sunday to see Elvis Costello,Crowded House,Crosby Stills and Nash and Macca.They put on their website that there will be no screens showing footie and that if you leave to watch elsewhere you can't get back in!

Interesting line up. Bet macca does the two Dirges - Hey Jude and The Long And Winding Road..I fecking HATE them both.

I will be watching the Grand Prix 1st and if there are any delays due to crashes it could overrun into the football, oh well.

Girlfriend doing Lewes Raft Race which starts about 1.30ish because of the tide. Have promised to meet her with champagne. Takes up to about 3 hours to do the race so will need to find a Newhaven Tellypub near the finish. Any ideas?

When did you check the website? When I looked earlier it said they would show it on the big screen but with no sound so you could watch whilst listening to the bands.

I'm only going to see Pearl Jam tomorrow. Won't bother going in until the evening as the support is total shite.

Just checked website again and you're right they must have succumbed to popular demand as the previous message was quite abrupt. Cancel my post I can now see game! It's going to be a bit strange while an artist is performing and then a big roar goes up when a goal is scored,not quite sure that's such a good idea.Elvis Costello is on when most of the game is being played and the remainder is at the beginning of the Crowded House set.

No, I just meant I was working as it is a Sunday morning here. For anti-English, read realistic, no-rose-tinted-glasses.

But actually an enthralling game of curling would have been better than any of the English games so far. You are quite right there.
