Methinks Arsenal will win it, like Sammy I don't see Chelsea finishing on top of the pile, despite all their big money signings I think they will fall a bit short, probably ending up third behind Man Utd the runners-up.

Id like Arsenal to win it as I think the way they play when henry, pires et al are in top form is breathtaking and far and away superior to the other teams..though they tend to shoot themselves in the foot by not finishing games off and have too small a squad.
I think Chelsea will do well as well, they looked great yesterday and that was without Mutu and whoever else they are soon to sign, plus for many was first game together so youd think they can only get better. That said it wasnt liverpools strongest outfit missing Hamann and gerrard so veron and lampard had an easier game then normally would.
Utd looked good, will probably win it if they dont get sidetracked in europe or van nistleroo dosnt get injured.

Thought Chelski looked very good yesterday. As the commentators said, it's not like the money has to take them up from mid-table to the title, they would have been 3rd or 4th fav even without a signing. They have brough quality in, and are a World Class forward away from winning in. I would bet against Mutu being that forward, and they could also sign Crespo yet.

If they get Crespo or Vieri, they'll win it.

Man Utd will win the league for the next five years i reckon. That Ronaldo kid is f***ing class.

Don't care though, that league is merely for light entertainment now. Its like watching an exhibition. Until we get there that is and kick the shit out of those primadonna ****s with some proper football.

Keane and Viera have nothing on Oatway.

He did look very, very lively, but just watch as everyone gets completely carried away with him after a 30 min cameo. Anyone remember Faustino Asprilla's debut when he came off the bench against Middlesbrough and just looked like a magician???

Yes, he may turn out to be the best player in the World, but plenty more turn out to be shooting stars. Burn very brightly, but soon fizzle out.
