I know why Fat Boy Slim got the first gig and it is entirely appropriate after all Norman has done for BHAFC over the wilderness years but I do not think he fits the Amex paying clientelle very well.

Hence the fact it is proving a struggle to shift 40000 tickets.

I would love to see a rock band playing real music next or a decent pop act.

An act with local connections ideally so dare I say someone like Keane. They would sell out in a hour.

After all it is about raising revenue.

Who would you like to see, within reason, performing at the Amex next ?

Delia's Kitchen would be great , only a handful would turn up and she could do her "where are ya" all over again !

I am more thinking a realistic option. The Radioheads and Coldplays of this World are probably too big.

Radiohead are playing at the O2 Arena London which has a capacity of 23000 in October so they would suit perfectly.

Arctic Monkeys, but I think Rizzle Kicks would definitely sell out and they'd want to play there as well.

Decent local band but would they sell out ? mmmm, also the concert would be very short. Adele is too big surely, not literally, well maybe not.

Keane is a great shout, I'd go to that.

Do you think we could lure Adele? I'd love that even more.

Great minds mate. Keane are very good and the song I posted imo is one of the greatest songs of the last 10 years but some people poo poo them, due to their college and middle class background, musically snobbery imo as they are a decent band. I would pay to see them at the Amex and if they played the Bexhill pavillion as a tribute to their hometown I am sure they would be up for the Amex.
