One of my best mates is Spanish, so I'll go for them

Surely that's good reason to support whoever Spain are playing.

I think I'll go for Holland to continue the tradition of supporting a team that is bound to be knocked out on penalties.

France. That's where my ancestors came from 300 years ago so I have a slight connection to them. But they're also our closest neighbours, play some good football and have got a stonking national anthem.

Allez les Bleus
What he said. And I have French rellies.

Or the Swiss - I like them. And I have fond memories watching the Swiss in Germany last summer.

ROmania, Holland, France, but mostly motorsport and cricket instead

anyone but the slimey cheaty teams like Portugal, Spain and to a lesser but equally irritating extent Italy.

Like Nail Z gull, its far more enjoyable waqtching a match when you don't have any great sentimental attachment to it.

Croatia, but them I'm half-Croatian.

Of the sides in it, no one really captures my imagination. Most of the big sides are weaker than they were 4 or 5 years ago - Italy, Holland, France, the Czechs.

The real disappointment is that we had the players capable of building a team that could have won it. Sadly, we're also the ONLY big name side not to qualify, which is extremely embarrassing and will leave its legacy in worse seedings in major tournaments down the line.

With England out, there's a chance we might have some real entertainment for a change. So for that reason I'll be supporting whichever team has most banjo-playing squirrels in their squad.

Living and working in the London melting pot surrounded by loads of lovely foreigners who come to our country, constantly slag it off and hate all our sports teams, I don't give a f***. I hope there's a massive avalanche or some horrible outbreak of ebola and all the bastard foreign teams and all their cunty fans die horribly.
