who will partner cullip at cb till blackwell recovers?

I'd like it to be Robbie Pethick. He looked decent at centre back last year.

Pethick gets my nod for now, ideally a new signing needs to come in though to fill the void left by Blackwell.
Also when he does get fit he could come back at the right time when the push for promotion kicks in

Pethick, Hinshelwood,Virgo and Mayo(he played at centre back last year during spells) wont let us down, so I see getting a new centre back as a much lower priority

The mere fact that we have 3 CBs to choose from, and that we basically feel OK about them is surely not a bad thing.

If we play either 3-5-2 or 5-3-2, we can have

Watson RB
Pethick CB
Cullip CB
Mayo CB
Jones LB

I though Mayo performed OK at CB last season, although my preference is LB. And surely Watson can't have the stinker ths season that he had last season.
