This seems pretty close to the mark to me.

Pervis and Mitoma seem the highest likelihood to go for big bucks, but their form is patchy and there's less money swilling around now. João Pedro I think will stay another year.

There are also a LOT of kids out on loan or on the fringes who may go elsewhere for opportunities, or because the club rates others more highly.

We might see the likes of Leonard, Moran, Weir, Rushworth, Peupion, Kozlowski in pre season as a test of their levels but they won't all make it and some might be shifted with a chunky sell on clause a la Gyokeres.

Lamptey needs to prove he can stay fit until the end of the season, but RDZ seems to really like the lad and is giving him opportunities.

I'm afraid I don't share your trust in Bloom and Barber not to sell the boy off prematurely. They've got previous. Bank balance will be healthier, team will be weaker. Clearly the higher up the footballing food chain you go, the harder it becomes to replace like for like. At a certain level the algorithm will be of limited use

Selling our players for £100m+ is not "prematurely" - it's peak time. Keeping anyone against their will isn't in anyone's best interest. We're better off accepting that our stars will be sold when offers come in that can't be refused. I mean it's not as if our recruitment has been dire. We finished 6th last season, we're still in 2 cups (including Europe) and 8th in the league this season despite selling our two best players and allowing a goal scorer coming good to leave on loan.

Difficult for a player coming back mid season. I don't disagree and think it'll be difficult for him to stay if De Zerbi is still in charge, but expect them to make a decision after he has the majority of a full pre season with the team.

Clearly, Barbs and Bloom know what they are doing. They probably have almost as good an idea as you regarding Joao Pedro's standing in the Brazil squad and may even factor that into their thinking when coming up with the number...
I can't think of anyone else better placed to make that call - what's the 'previous' you're referring to? Whoever it was is likely to be completely outweighed by holding out for an extra £20m for Ben White, an extra £25-30m for Cucurella and an extra c £50m for Caicedo.

Totally agree. Tho we have fallen victim to a significant number of key players downing tools in the past couple of seasons. Wouldn't do any harm IMHO to let one of them just sit and rot for quite a long while pour encourager les autres

Milner will be desperate to stay to beat Barry's record. He brings a lot to the club beyond his playing, by all accounts he's a good influence on the younger players.

I can't see Sarmiento going, particularly if Mitoma is out the door, we'll need to hang on to our wide players

Alzate - out of contract, I believe - will almost certainly go to somewhere he is wanted. Rangers might want to keep Sima, but whether they can afford him, and whether we don't mind not making much profit on him are two doubtfuls in that scenario. Kozlowski appears to be in his comfort zone, so may well want to stay there (not much, if any, profit there, then).

I'm saying what I'd like to see happen as a fan. Of course he could be sold. But I'd hope the club would say we're not selling him yet. If we can keep him, we'd almost certainly get more money than if he goes in just a few months. He's only been here for half a season and there's a compelling footballing case for him to stay and improve, especially under De Zerbi, for at least one more year.
