This was indeed the case but word of mouth means that I still might not have enough. I will do one for everyone - it's just that it keeps growing. The next lot are almost burn but now I am having problems with my paper trimer packing up. I may have to manually cut the covers to size. Added to that is the fact that a couple of the cases I have been sent only hold 3 rather than 4 disks making them uselesss. I have a few of my own 4 disk cases but the next batch will be limited to about 30. That seemed ample to start with but word of mouth has meant more and more requests. I'll order a few more cases when I can work out how many I need - I have disks for another 20 after this 30 but not the cases at the moment. Or covers for that matter thanks to the few that my trimmer snarled up this morning.
Anyway, I should still be on track for another thread with details on Saturday.
OK - I've ordered more disks and cases to do another 30 if needed after this 30. Details of how to pay will appear Saturday. Price includes postage to the UK - please add £1.50 for abroad.
Sod's Law - Murphy's Law. Call it what you will. The last 2 DVD's I burnt for the next batch were coasters. The first I have had in over 300 disks. Can't complain about that too much but the timing was impeccable!
Just need to sort out covers and envelopes now so look out tomorrow night or Friday for a new thread.
I'm glad to see quite a few more orders have materialised by keeping the thread in view.
If you have a Halifax a/c I can transfer the money instantly from my Hx a/c - I don't think all internet banks do that (if anyone knows of others that do, maybe start a thead and let us know).
Even Hx takes a couple of days to get the transfer through the ether, if to another bank! Somebody must be milking the interest on the overnight money market.
