Tottenham with Middlesborough second but on my birthday it was a Cup weekend and Albion beat Chesterfield 2-1 at the Goldstone in front of an impressive 17,688. We were Div 3 South and they were Div 2

This is interesting - not something I have ever thought about before.

Anyway with the wonders of the internet I can see that on the day I was born the top teams were:-

Div 1 - Spurs
Div 2 - Preston
Div 3 North - Rotherham
Div 3 South - Forest (!!!) - we were 19th
