Who shouldn't be allowed to drive when the roads are snowy?

Mums in 4x4s who only buy them because they are 'big' and not because they realise they actually have adequate driving capability in icy conditions. It is a Volvo XC90; not an oil tanker. You do not need 3 miles to stop / turn.

Anybody in a Nissan Micra. Please, just f*** off till it thaws. You'd be quicker walking anyway.

White Transit vans (although this also applies to any weather condition, to be honest).

Anybody with 4 inches + of snow on their roof. It is not a trophy, nor is it a badge of honour. It just makes you look like a lazy slob. Clear it off.

Any others?

The arseholes who were driving down the road from Alfold through Loxwood on Friday evening and everybody was travelling at 30mph having been doing 5 mph from Guildford when a white transit and a BMW came down the road at speed and overtook most cars and had to pull in thus closing the gap that a driver had left between him and the car in front. What are these idiots trying to prove.

R M Taylor , managed to puncture a tyre on the ice (the wheel was already bashed) and had to be towed back down the road by our next door neighbour who drives a Transit.

Way out west
I heard a lovely story today from someone who was out on Saturday, when the roads around here were particularly challenging. He was driving along and had a prat in a Nova on his tail, who kept flashing his headlights to try and get him to speed up, although he was driving to the road conditions. Anyway, the prat in the Nova eventually overcame his patience and overtook, then sped off into the distance. About two miles later the person telling the story passed the very same Nova...on its side in a ditch by a very sharp corner...the teller admitted that he was tempted to wind down his window and shout some abuse, but chose to drive on with a smug grin on his face, safe in the knowledge that karma had played its part.

For me, it is prats in Novas who continue to drive around at way above the speed limit, doing stupid things that normal road users wouldn't.

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
Anybody wearing a cap (old fogey or baseball - equally brain dead). And anyone on a rear wheel drive trying to climb a hill on ice - highly entertaining for everyone so long as they are out of range. And especially white vans cutting me up on the M62 just as the outside lane disappears again under a layer of compacted snow. And large artics who clearly don't care unless they end up sideways or on their sides. And relax............
