The most important player we need is a first class opener but from were ?????
the only player i would give the chop is Kirtley as his time is up, it was a year ago, but alas he has been offered a one year one day deal but will he go for it !!!!!!!! Lewry is a must to keep as he will always get us wickets, the most important need is a quickie some one who can swing and pick up those opening wickets harris keep's getting mentioned but his first game for the bulls v tasmania did not produce much if we could i would go for noffke (hope i have spelled it right) as he would fit all the parts we need. now to joyce of middlesex am still considering this one ???? if Adams does go then go for him otherwise i would be going for s Law for a one year contract,at lest it would stop him scoring centuries against us.collymore i would release as soon as possible and i still do not think sami is the answer. d smith his contract at present is for one day games only and when he is not needed he will be playing in the bolton league otherwise we must carry on with the talented youngsters we have and let them carry through.now i will expect a comment from uncle buck and trigger, and may be mendoza i will await from you all. COME ON YOU SHARKS.

AT LEST THE CONMAN HAS GONE TO SLURREY BYE BYE MR MACKAY

Ashley Noffke was snubbed by Oz so has retired from international cricket. I would go for him too: he has a great recent record.

The fast bowling needs sorting. There was not enough pace in the attack last season.

The openers have not been sorted, I wonder whether Walters of Surrey will end up down here next season. Yardy is playing in the same Aussie side as him this winter.

If we could get Joyce, plus another opener, I would not bother with Law. Move Yardy back to 3, Murray at 4, Nash at 5 and the batting might just hold together. We are likely to lose Prior next season, which is a blow as his batting with vital last season.

I would happily see Yassir back here if he wants to play First Division cricket.

Blimey Viscount your post is hard to read!!!!

Its hard to judge for me as a missed a lot of cricket for the first time in ages last year.

With Prior off on England duties, Brown was worth keeping to keep Hodd on his toes.

Rayner seemed to come of age last season, so a 2 year deal was essential, hopefully he will get more wickets and be a more than handy number 8

Lewry is worth keeping as he probably isnt fit enough to play loads of Championship games, but always stifles the batsmen as well as takes wickets.

Smith and Beer, I dont know too much about, but they are young and part of our academy, so worth holding on to.

Aga, I am yet to be convinced on, but he has signed.

It is obvious we need an opening batsmen and a fast bowler next year, so lets wait and see what happens.

I wouldnt be opposed to Law joining, or Ramprakash either, but feel we need someone slightly younger than these two, and build on a future rather than short term fix

I see Stuart Law has been released by Lancs because of his ICL links. I'd love to see him play for us and having him and Goodwin might take some pressure off Adams.
