Equally importantly, is it scone as in Don (Revie) or scone as in stone?

I use the former, my partner is adamant that it should be the latter.

Of course there's also the "Jam or Cream first?" debate to be had (jam, obviously).

Have had a cream tea from both MetroDeco in Kemptown and Piglets Pantry and the scones in both were very tasty. Don't know if you can buy them on their own though.

Such a shame that Blackbird is gone from Ship Street.

If you're after takeaway, the ones from Canhams sold with cream and fresh strawberries are pretty good, but not as good as their chocolate brownies.
