Who said they couldn't get excited for this season?

What are you on?! How can you not get excited about watching The Albion again? How you can you not get excited about the trials, tribulations and (hopefully) the triumphs that the team will serve up over the next nine months?

The week that leads up to the first game of the season is traditionally the longest of the year. I simply can't wait for Saturday, I feel like I'm going to burst.

Summer's great and everything, but you simply can't beat watching The Albion every week, home and away. It's the best thing ever.

I'd stand in a bucket of poo to watch my team. And I'd pay to do so. (Thankfully I've never had to, although Priestfield was close).

Could jabba on forever about this, and probably will all week.

5 DAYS TO GO - WOO HOO!!!!

Agreed...I'm more excited than Chappers could be if he was sitting naked in Imbruglia's bed and she's wearing nothing but a thong! :p

Ok maybe not THAT excited but its damn close :lolol:

Still not excited. Might be because my first game of the season is still 3 weeks away (Luton on bank holiday).

Probably my 'slowest' start to a season since records began.

Am so looking forward to it! Just hope they do well this year! The only thing about a nice summer is that I'll be travelling instead of getting a tan. But I'm not complaining! I know what I would rather do!!!!!

I'm still not excited about the forthcoming season. I'm more excited about the prospect of Sussex winning the County Championship!

Nah, just can't get excited about it. Possibly because I also won't see them 'til Luton, largely due to the QPR game being bloody moved and now clashing with my hols.

Main reason is though, that I just can't see us challenging for promotion or struggling. Mid table all season I reckon. Also, without Bob, there's nobody there who can do things that nobody else in the division is capable of. The best result this season will come from the Falmer enquiry, I think. THEN I'll get excited.

Hopeful of being proved wrong though, of course.

its interesting different peoples take on a good season.

for me its the social aspect of it all. great away trips with your mates etc.

drinking before and after the home games.

dont get me wrong i love football its a drug to me ,but what makes a good day out is your mates etc.

when we were really shit , i wouldnt have travelled to places like Scarborough just for the football.
