Gods country fortnightly
Dunky for now, though 2 more bookings and we could lose him at a crucial time. 2nd Bruno, a ultimate professional

So hard to pick this year with so many consistent top performers

1.Dunk
2.Knockeart
3.Duffy
4.Stephens
5.Murray
6.Baldock

Other notable performers in Bruno, Stockdale, Sidwell & Hemed

I think you only need to look at results when Stephen's doesen't play to establish who I personally think deserves it

Could be:
Dunk, but too many yellows
Knockaert, had great games but some awful ones
Stephens, runs some games but at times doesn't show up.
Duffy, been awesome along with Dunk but feels wrong to give it to him ahead of Dunk
Murray, first half a season and he was running away with it but last 10 or so games has been poor
Stockdale, good but I think he was better last season
Baldock, significantly better than last season but not quite enough to win player of the season.

So many who could be nominated but still another 8 games that could change my mind

Personally I'd like to give the whole team the award. I can't think of one player who has let us down this season and it's a classic case of the team being greater than the sum of its parts.

Yes, we've got some eye-catching players but they've all played their part in a magnificent season......

Agree....massive testament to the squad/team ethic that we'll have tens of pages debating who might be POTS, and most of us would be happy with any one of 6-8 players if 'our choice' didn't win. It's too early to call for me - 8 pivotal games coming up, someone could make a huge impact in those games.

Knocky will actually win it though........populist vote. If he gets another 6 goals and 6 assists he's very welcome to it as well [emoji106]

Baldock for me owing to him being the most important in my view because we have no like-for-like replacement. In addition, he scored some quite outstanding goals and runs for the team till he drops.

Knockaert very closely followed by Dunk. Many, if not all, have been excellent but these too have been sublime.

I'll tell you once it's over, our most crucial games are about to come and hero's could be made.

I voted for Knockaert.

He might not have been the most consistent player and disappeared in some away games but overall he has given me more enjoyment than any Brighton player for a long time. I love his attitude and his left foot. Magical on his day.

if you are measuring exciting football then AK , if you are measuring consistently good performances mixed with the more than occasional outstanding then Dunk by a country mile....

I think we are were we are because of Stockdale, Dunk and Knockaert but especially because of Duffy. For me he has been truely immense this season snd gets my vote.
