Was Moseley/Steele, in the latter half of 70s when I first started going.FFS take Dave Peasant off. . . .
Joe Corrigan was better.
I voted Perry DIgweed, BUt Eric Steele was my fave as a kid, and John Keeley is up there too. . .
er - that was Mark Beeney...Has to be John Keeley, possibly made the best save in the Albion history. Being sold to save the Albion from going bust!!!!

In the absence of these, Will Packham, and Florent Chaigneau, I’ll go for the Former Dutch Marine (chef)!David Yelldell
“Free Headahh” Mark Walton
Simon Royce
Steve Harper
Wayne Henderson
Or King Graeme Smith.

Whilst accepting the level wasn't as high as today, I still rate Johnny Keeley near top. The old tip toeing big arse, was a brilliant keeper for the level we were at, and I loved watching that team with Garry Nelson / Kevin Bremner in the old Goldstone North Stand.
when Chaigneau was with us I once saw him out clubbing in Brighton. He was chain smoking (pre smoking ban) and had about 5 women constantly grinding on himIn the absence of these, Will Packham, and Florent Chaigneau, I’ll go for the Former Dutch Marine (chef)!
I vaguely remember Geoff Sidebottom at the Goldstone.Brian Powney for me the first keeper I can remember
Sounds like Keelo, was he on Fosters top ?John Keeley is the only one I have had a pint with. Fairly late on New Years' Eve 1987 in the Stadium Tavern.
Next morning I watched him save a penalty at Craven Cottage. My mate didn't make it, as he had a hangover.
Same here. Easy name. to remember even if nothing else. I kinda recall him continuing to play on in a match when seriously injured.I vaguely remember Geoff Sidebottom at the Goldstone.
