Given his age when he joined us and his lack of pace Frank Worthington was still a pure entertainer and still posed the skills to stand out.

Good call and insisted on wearing overly tight shorts for some unknown reason.

Sergei Gotsmanov also had some sublime silky skills.

I know votes maybe skewed by younger peeps and what they've seen. But watching Frank Worthington warm up, with all the flicks and tricks was a joy to behold back in the day.

Vicente - the flame was brief but oh so bright.

Agreed.....and I am of the generation that saw all the players in the list, they all offered a lot in their day but Vicente was utter class. Not in the same league, but on their day both Paul Brooker and Will Buckley put in scintillating performances, but no consistency from either.

Vicente had both the skill and vision AK has a lot of skill not sure he has the same vision. Vicente influenced the whole way the team played AK is more individual.

Vicente in the modern era; but Frank Worthington combined footballing skills with a (to me) enviable lifestyle off the pitch which made him one of the great characters of the game. However, the passage of time means he has faded from memory a bit and he was playing before many NSC posters were born - hence he will not get that many votes. Still a LEGEND though.:)

Vicente. Outrageously good footballer and not sure when (if?) we'll get to see another player of his quality in the stripes. Absolutely insane that he was turning out for the Albion
