Any 5 or 6 year old will tell you it's Knockaert , take a look at Seagulls player the bit where Knocky nutmegs the poor bloke then rubs it in with a dragback for good measure , look past this if you can and spot the young lad in the crowds face , brilliant , the futures bright .

Vicente was never world class playing for us. He was a crocked version of his old self. He Had a lovely touch but did find himself having to beat the same player twice, whereas AK from a standing position can suddenly glide past 2/3 players all in one movement. At his best, Vicente was obviously the silkiest, but he was never at his best for us. AK has shown enough silk for me to get my vote. Everything he does just oozes class.

Harsh. Although they were few and far between there were days when Vicente was fully fit and his speed of brain, accuracy and incisiveness of passing were awesome, better than anything I've ever seen from an Albion midfielder, arguably better than anything even Arsenal brought to the Amex in their two FA Cups ties.

Vicente I'd say but sadly didn't stay long enough. Knocky can eclipse him this season

Vicente was magic with the ball. AK is a close second.

Can't be bothered to look through the thread, but surely the answer is David Cameron?

Loved watching Vicente, but he was over the top by the time he came to us and had lost some of his pace - I can't help thinking that our memories are influenced by his reputation and a handful of (admittedly) magical moments that re-appear on every Albion video.

Knockaert is simply superb every time I see him. Pace, guile, desire, outrageous skill - how lucky we are to to be supporting the Albion in an age where we can watch him (and compare him to Vicente just a few years earlier).

Silkiest? Probably Vicente just. King of flair? Knockaert without doubt, some of the tricks and showboats he pulls out of the bag are just outrageous! Big shout out to Bruno and Orlandi too from the Amex years...

Vicente was effortlessly brilliant, and played so infrequently that he always left you wanting more. Gotsmanov was head and shoulders above the rest of the team, Ward was electric, Worthington had vision and absolute ball skills (just no legs by the time we got him). Knockaert we've got at the right age, I love his cheekiness and the fact that he plays with so much feeling.

All good players but I voted for Vicente.

Given his age when he joined us and his lack of pace Frank Worthington was still a pure entertainer and still posed the skills to stand out.
