I'm the opposite.

Sometimes you do see these late season flurries of a team deep in trouble, so I wouldn't bet against one of them getting a few wins and going unbeaten. I just think we'll get a couple of wins as well.

Hope so. I'm also banking on the fact that teams with little to lose often put a run together but as soon as it looks like they might pull off a great escape the nerves creep in and they come up short. We really should be safe......

I'm not a gambler , but since you asked I just put £2 on Fulham and £1 on Shef Utd to beat Spuds.

Mate. When the fun stops .. stop.

And let us know if you're having issues with this cruel addiction

Next weekend could look different. We beat Leeds (oh the dream) Southampton loose or draw to Leicester. Newcastle loose or draw to Arsenal and Burnley loose or draw with West Ham, We could be 14th on goal difference and this weekend would be a just a bad nightmare. Especially since Fulham play Chelsea.

Um , we drew with Chelsea ?

I think we will be ok, it will more of a case of the others not picking up maximum points and running out of games that will be the decider.

Can I be the one who shits his pants until we are mathematically safe?

Honestly it won't even be close. Fulham and West Brom will finish around six points behind whichever one of us decides to finish fourth bottom. We almost certainly have enough points already.
