Could not be arsed with the 'Guess who I met in the players lounge at Stamford Bridge around 1998'

I went to Chelsea v Wimbeldon 4-1, I think and had access to players lounge etc, shook hands with Gus, seemed quite friendly but English was not great, Chris Sutton enough said.......along with Denis Wise !!!

Anyone elso know him as well as I do??

How strange - I was at exactly the same game and was in the players lounge as my brother won it in a competition! I remember Wimbledon scored first and Chelsea scored 3 quick fire goals
I didnt speak to Gus but had my photo taken with him and also got the programme signed by Zola and Tore Andre Flo.

Yes i have and very nice he was too it was when he came to the withdean with wise and leeds he kindly put £10 in the bucket for our falmer fund and wished us well and asked about the new ground, as normal dennis wise walked past and was quite rude about us,

I turned up to my usual thursday night 5-a-side league (in orpington, south east london) a few months back and who do i randomly see playing for one of the other teams, none other than our very own Gus Poyet! quite a crowd had gathered to watch him play, and he has still got some skills!

I was kind of hoping he would play there regularly as the next week we were due to play his team!
