Crawled up most of the A1 and had to do a ton for the length of the M62 to get there on time. (Only had to leave from Cambridge so already half way there I suppose but traffic jams get me riled)

I'll keep quiet as I must have had the easiest.

Cracking journey as it goes. Back home in Eastbourne at 22:15.

Getting there was alright (chose the M1 over the M42/M6), including a fantasticly picturesque drive through the Peak District, until we actually got to Oldham. Do they not have road signs?! I know most of the locals can't read but for the benefit of visitors a few signs wouldn't go a miss. Eventually got to the pub at 13:15. Grrr.

OK Really! until decided to get adventurous and stop off at Staylebridge and avail myself of the station bar. (Pie un' Pez fur £1.50 lad!)

Train to Victoria failed as did the bus from S'bridge station to the ground, so £13 for a mincab to get to the match on time.

Not learning the lesson decided to attempt the return bus journey, which again failed leaving me with a walk through Oldham glamourous suburbs.

Some boneheads around on the walk home! Singing BNF songs and standing outside some Asian houses making nazi salutes, with a group hanging around in support if needed.

Charming

Pleased to leave, but by the time I caught a connection, ex Wakefield, Palace had had the best of the beer in the buffet, so a dry trip home.

I say you should think carefully about this fiance thing mate !

If she's with-holding favours now, think about how things are gonna be once you're clamped in irons .
