Are we all good Europeans now and just want the best man to win, or are we Brits or English or Frog haters?

Your call..

Unless your french, anyone who says Tsonga should be ashamed of themselves.

Does it matter it is hardly a big tournament with prestige. just another one to help fill the bank of already rich sportsmen.

It's actually a warm up for Wimbledon as the vast majority of players only play on grass when the matches are in England. Prestige or not, it's actually been quite entertaining and given me something half decent to watch early evening instead of the absolute dross put out by all the free to air channels.

Rubbish, I spend time in France, I have never even been to Scotland and Murray is a (very good tennis playing) moody little shit so I wouldn't support him against anybody but a German. Tsonga has a good attitude, a sense of humour and speaks pretty good English. He also plays tennis well enough on grass to pose a real threat to Murray.

Loads of people don't like Murray because they think he was serious when he said he'd support Portugal when they played England.

Am a big Roddick fan myself so no preference really. Never liked Murray but he has become a little cheerier recently. I'd want Murray to win if the British media didn't blow their load over him.

Probably Murray but he does make it difficult for people to like him with his attitude and all that.

Have to say I'd support Portugal if they were playing Scotland, I have no affinity whatsoever with Scotland or Portugal so would choose based on who would play the more attractive football. Are you suggesting that Murray actually would have supported England against PARAGUAY? I don't think there was any tongue in cheek about it, most Scots I know would support anyone against the English and good luck to them, it's not like they are likely to see their own team beat them very often.

What attitude is that then, one that has made him one of the best 4 players in the world, up against two of the best players ever. The one where he has made himself one of the fittest on tour and one of the fastest around the court - and still wants to get better. I wish I had an attidude like that.

this

he swears a bit,so what. like many sportspeople he just shows emotion and it boils over from time to time-footballers are 10 times worse.

and i never understand the whole supporting Portugal thing, he just being Scotish and was having a laugh! find me a scot who wants england to succeed.

he's a great tennis player who is currently up against some of the greatest players to play the sport.
