I notice that in an interview in the Argus Dixon says he has played right wing. Might be useful to try him in that position in training to see how he does. Could be a different option.

Problem is that Robinson can totally disappear from a game for very long periods or has days when his touch deserts him. Better coming on from the bench and influencing games that way for me.

Probably one player shy of a tidy midfield if everyone's fit.

No mention of Martot in this thread so far??

I`m all for Robinson coming off the bench as long as the game is finished. He is crap.

A great performance by the team, yet it seems some have a trouble admitting that, and would rather blame a poor opposition instead of us playing well.

FYI I didn't say what you are making me out to have said.

I just said that El-Abd played well, but he would struggle against better opposition. You've gotta admit Crewe were very poor.

I can admit that the team played well, because they did. That doesn't mean that I think El-Abd is the right man to start in CM every game for the rest of the season, because he isn't.

I'm taking NOTHING away from the team performance, because it was excellent.

Believe me I was one of the people that stood there after the final whistle cheering and clapping every single player!

Yer good shout its almost like they have ther position in the bag apart from martot theres no other competition for places

Reid to replace El Abd if he ever recovers to being fully fit and where he was before injury.

Robinson on the bench, hopefully we will sign a winger at some point soon as Robinson will never make the grade at this level.
