I am rooting for Argentina as they have been the best team, have the best players and have the best manager. This is Maradona's World Cup and I would love to see him lift the trophy. He has been the star of the show.

Argentina, they have played great football throughout the tournament, mesmerising to watch, as a mere football fan I find myself looking forward to their game this afternoon for another dose. In Maradonna they have an inspirational manager who the players adore, if only England had someone similar, he appears to just send them out onto the pitch and let their individual brilliance do the talking without trying to stifle them by adhering to a rigid playing pattern.

At times I have enjoyed watching other teams play, the Germans in their first game, the Mexicans and Japanese at times, even Ghana last night...but there is only one team who have thrilled me throughout and that is Argentina.

So, England just need to look through the ranks of past players for a cheating cokehead to manage the team and that will make us successful!!!

Maradona is a reformed Man. He gave up drugs years ago and the hand ball was 24 years ago. Time to move on. He is a legend now.

No, someone who was brilliant as a player and can inspire the players and get them playing as a team...the only Englishman I can think of who even comes close is Gazza, and he is a raging piss-head.

I think Beckham could be a possibility in the future.

I hate Argentina and always will. I'm firmly in the "anyone but Argentina" camp. One of my best mates is Spanish so it would be nice for them to win. I quite like the efficiency of the Dutch too. An all European final would be great... seeing as all the commentators have been banging on about it being a tournament dominated by the South Americans.

Shame Chile went out as I really enjoyed watching them play

I completely agree with everything you've said so there's no point repeating it.....

I haven't watched a single minute of a single game, and indeed I would have picked the "I didn't give a toss" option.

This was right up until 5pm yesterday, when the team I pulled out of the pub sweepstake made it to the last four and guaranteed me at least a tenner, with the possibility of the full eighty quid first prize just a week or so away.

I'd like to see Uruguay win, but if not then I'd be happy with Paraguay, Spain or the Netherlands.
