More importantly before the game we spotted Dick Knight. He was signing autographs for one or two people.
I just shook his hand and wished him all the best for the game and said I felt we could do it today.

oh u shud have said hi! sorry about my attempts to get everyone singing and keep standing up - hope u dint mind - was annoyed with the nimbys behind who kept saying sit-down! i turned round at one stage and said 'were u one of the 478 at a freezing cold tranmere game this yr? were u at Stockport,Cheaterfield,Rushden?NO DIDNT THINK SO!' just got annoyed
