Popped into the city centre club shop this afternoon on the hunt for a bargain. Asked how much the Withdean Years DVD was. When the girl behind the till said £19.99, I mentioned they were being sold for £1 at the concourse sale last week. A man working in the shop then said "You can have it for a quid if you want". Transaction made, and one very happy Albion fan went merrily on his way.

With service like that, the club is in safe hands.

This is the same marketing team caught short today by the leak of the away kit. Caught so off guard they have waited all day to get a picture that hadn't been leaked, so maybe off Errea and definitely from the same do and get the story out.

Today shows me how far we have come as a club. We were invited to the 25 years of Errea in Italy.

And how far we need to go. We had no strategy to re-own the story through the day.
