when we are fcuking winning or the game is on a knife edge still you see them piling out, blocking the running track - makes my blood boil............

Must look really good to the boys on the pitch.

If you don't want to be there, don't go in the first place.

MOST watch the game on the running track, to be fair, in order to make a quick exit at the final whistle.

I feel this is a guilty admission - so that's one, who are the other 2000?

You're wrong then, as i've never left a Brighton game early in my life.:)

But if you actually look down from the stands, you'll see that most of the people on the running track are stationary and watching the game!!

They need to be moved along by the stewards. You buy a ticket for a seat not for the running track.

But that would require the Withdean stewards to do something other than standing around trying to look tough and intimidating behind their dark glasses, so it won't happen.

I often leave 2-3 minutes before the end. I sit in the middle of row K in E block in the South Stand - basically the middle of a row half way up. It is an absolute NIGHTMARE getting out. It can easily take ten minutes. I get the bus and if i don't leave early it takes absolutely ages to get home.

People pay their money so should be able to leave when they like.

Maybe it pisses those people off that you stay to the end

Shit response! Leaving early is annoying for everyone trying to watch the game cos everyone has to get up to let the fuckers through!

Anyway, its the ones who leave at the time the game is 'scheduled' to finish that are really f***ing STUPID! The fact that the second half ALWAYS kicks off at least 5 minutes late and then add on 3 minutes injury time and you've missed nearly 10 minutes! :dunce:

I reckon half the away support who went to Southend didn't see Adam El Abd's goal.

There's this old chap who gets right up my mum's nose who leaves about 10 minutes before the end, stands right in front of her so she can't see whats going on and tries to start a conversation - quite funny really.....

Basically you wouldn't go to the Cinema and leave 10 mins from the end, so the same applies to football...

BUT.. as mentioned earlier, the vast majority who 'leave' early actually do just go down to watch the last few mins on the running track. I've done it on occasion.. never EVER left a game before the final whistle in my life though

I did when I was about 8 years old and guess what game it was?

BHA V Liverpool...we were losing 3-0 at the Goldstone at Half Time, the weather was dreadful and I was getting soaked...my mum & dad took me home and guess what happened - WE DREW 3-3!!!

luckily it was on MOTD so they didn't beat me too hard:dunce:

so THAST why we're shit....our players are more concerned as to what time NSC gets up and leaves instead of concentrating on the GAME!

Must remember to play football in the last 10mins on saturday at buckingham park instead of checking out whether the squirrel has left with the hedgehog!

Playing snooker
Not living in the area, and not having seen the Albion for ages, I found myself in position of being able to watch Bournemouth game the other week.
Phoned up club, paid my twenty six quid or whatever, got a seat in H Block.
Sat om my own in a sea of empty green seats (although I did spot Dave the Gaffer a few seats further down). To be honest after 20 minutes I was BORED SHITLESS by the game and the dull atmosphere. Total respect to those who endure this week in week out.
So I went for wander as I wanted a piss (had been in Brewry Tap with Tom Hark for hour or so prior to kick off...). Whilst I was in there B'mouth scored.
Came back watched rest of first half. Boring. Watched 2nd half more out of sense of grudging duty than any sense of pleasure. Left early, bored shitless by the whole thing. But given all the empty seats I didn't bother anyone in doing so.

I sit on the end of a row and I always watch the last couple of minutes formt he running track simply becasue otherwis eI have to get up and down about 5 or six times to let epople out so would rather stand and watch the game at the running track instead.
