not watched the u-23's in a while- any possible future flair icons I should look out for? are any first team fringe players likely to make an appearance?

Completely unchanged starting 11 and squad for Whitehawk; this will be a tough fixture for the Albion youngsters:-

Seems like the second string tonight then.

I wonder if you have any information on the U23s, you seem to be the font of all knowledge regarding this and I find it very frustrating the lack of info the club releases regarding them and the 18s.

A number of players seem to have disappeared over the last few weeks/months, and whether they're injured or on loan or on trial somewhere with a view to a loan/transfer, who knows?

I know Molumby and Hutchinson are injured. However the likes of Tilley, Collar, Kerr, Mandroiu and Sanchez have not been involved recently. Are they all injured? I'd have thought Tilley and Collar would be prime candidates for a loan move, but their continued absence suggests perhaps otherwise. Especially considering the perseverance with players like Dallison and Forbes, who have both had failed loan moves and are getting a little bit old now for any realistic chance that they may develop into first teamers.

Whitehawk's line-up no longer unchanged as former Albion centre-back/left-back Tom Cadman comes into the starting XI:-

1-0 Bjordal

5' GOOAALL!! Bjordal breaks the deadlock after taking advantage of some sloppy Whitehawk defending and rounds Wilks, before slotting home into an empty net.

Any reason why Mateju wouldn’t be starting this game? You’d have thought he’d be first choice right back for this. Is he not quite as good as we thought?
I assume with U21s we don't have a First XI and rotate the games throughout the whole squad so everyone gets games ?

The U23 team played Friday (Mateju played) and U18 on Saturday, so I guess this is a mixture of players between the two squads who maybe need a game.

We made 8 changes from the U23 team from Friday. The SSC games never have a 'full' U23 squad playing.

Might be in the squad Saturday?

The only U-18 lad in the starting line-up tonight is Tom McGill, the goalkeeper.

People seem to forget that we have over 30 players in the development squad. Even with lads out on loan, we have more than enough to field two completely separate elevens. Albion tend to field a younger, less-experienced starting XI for the Sussex Senior Cup matches.

I thought I was joking on my previous post, but maybe it IS part of their syllabus:-
