I thought out of all the horrible performances today, Whing looked an excellent player and was great both in defending and getting forward. The one bright spot we can take from todays game, looked like an excellent signing and someone who can regularly play right back.

Williams is a good player and has ability LI. He can't be blamed for not getting decent service and when he does get the ball at his feet the nearest 5 players are always the opposition so what chance has he got. 5 in midfield does not work and we should move Revell in the centre and play 2 wide men who will cross the bal thus creating opportunities to hit the onion bag.

I would be happy with Whing starting every game at right back, with his Championship experience he can provide some stability. Not only did he defend but he looked to get forward as well.

I thought he was shocking. Slow poor choices when playing the ball out. On the whole not impressed. Still with the rest of the rubbish around him is it any wonder?

Agree fully on the second part. Not sure about Williams though, if you're not getting great service you can at least try and make runs and put yourself about, he doesn't seem to do that.

I thauhgt that Williams did ok considering every time he got the ball he had 3 blackpool players around him and not one brighton player!


I thaught Mayo was crap today, it seemed like every time he touched the ball it went to the other team!

He did put our best corner in the box at the end though!
