A 'hissy fit' so he could be playing at a team closer to his really ill father.

Knockaert asking for a transfer makes very little sense.

He is playing nearly every week in the PL, and none of the top teams would be interested in him.

So who is trying to lure him away ? Stoke ? West Brom ? Swansea ? Surely he doesn't want to go back to the Championship ?

Doesn't make any sense on any level, sounds more like a late April Fools joke.

i am pretty sure his father's illness was a sudden event that occurred whilst he was at the Albion and not a reason for going to Liege.

No. It was the single reason he went to Liege - to be near his family at the time.

Or alternatively Hughton merely thinks for now Hemed, Izquierdo and Brown are ahead of him in terms of the 18.
Hemed's same type as Murray, Izquierdo's a winger and Baldock gives us more movement and energy than Brown ever will so my point still stands that v Burnley he would have been a better option.

To be honest, I really don't know what is going to happen, so many theories.
I do think that we will be conservative in our outlook at just play to remain in this division, to bulk up the coffers for some major spending next season.........................or it could just go tits up.

Yep. Sure but why the hint that it’s “strange” - as if there was something more to it.

'Strange' as in, we were at home and he is a different type of forward to what we've used so far and been lacking imo and he'd been on the bench 2 games previously and was left out of the match squad, with no forthcoming reason from CH.

Who would you have left out ? Hemed ?

Why on earth do you consider Dunk leaving as increasingly likely?

Rippleman won't answer. Its really no more likely than last summer, last winter, the summer before that etc etc. If anything his form has dipped in the last month or so.

As mentioned to you just a couple of days ago, there is a very good reason why he's not in the squad but it's none of our business

Hughton said today at the Watford press conference about Sam's absence from the 18.

"At the moment it's almost as difficult to pick the subs as the team.
"That's because we have got a lot of bodies fit and available and that's the way you would want it. So it's purely tactical"

Well it confirms some things ...but to the average punter it remains puzzling considering the sides recent goal scoring record...we shall see what this Saturday brings.

Nah. Nobody ever believes CH keeps people out of the 18 for "tactical" reasons. Its always some other guff that a good sauce has coughed up and becomes the bloomin' gospel... (he's for sale, secret injury, discipline, medical, personal, etc etc)

Walton back to replace Maenpaa
Goldson and Skalak loan
Baldock sold as CH seems to not want him in the squad

Will make room for a couple.

Walton is going back to Wigan on loan
Goldson is integral to the first team squad and likely to play against Watford
Baldock has only recently signed a new contract.

Any other pearls of wisdom BG?

Goldson to be fair was only hours away from leaving the club on loan in the summer which is what the club was hoping for and probably still want. He needs experience.
And at yesterdays press conference Hughton wouldn't confirm if he was playing on Saturday leaving it possibly open for Uwe to replace Duffy. Goldson on loan has to still be a likely Jan window bet.
