As my good lady wife was born only about 200 yards away from Upton Park and lived there until i took her to pastures new, best I had support them today i guess!!

I want to see West Ham lose but at the same time I'd be glad to see the back of them too.
Likewise. If they don't go up, they'll probably finish higher than us next season. We 'could' finish above Blackpool.

Hibs Hearts for me. A proper feisty derby in a cup final. The first time for over a century.
That's the game I wanted to see.

But I'll be playing golf instead.

Even though it's two MTL teams, the fact that it's a proper Cup Final, between two teams who aren't the Old Firm, and who are fairly evenly matched, I think it could be worth watching.

But I'm off to work in ten minutes, so I won't see any football at all this afternoon/evening :(

Leinster V Ulster
Ditto. That and the cricket. Pity in the end it was a bit one-sided, but at least Ulster started well. Didn't watch either of the football matches, I knew West Ham had won because they said on the cricket that Gooch was pleased, but I didn't know Chelsea had won until I logged on here this morning and saw a 'well done Chelsea' thread. I didn't really give a shit either way about either game, but I suppose I'm very mildly disappointed that the Bundesliga team lost and also that the favourites won at Wembley.

EDIT: Just wanted to say that I'm not saying the above as an affectation or fishing for a response, it's just that these days outside of Brighton and to a lesser extent England I have very little interest in professional football. If there had been an NFL game on yesterday that would have been my #1 viewing choice.

EDIT AGAIN: I'm assuming Chelsea DID actually win? The 'well done Chelsea' thread could just be praising their performance! I'd better check ....

EDIT AGAIN AGAIN: Oh yeah, they did. On penalties apparently.
