I think this is also the appropriate thread to mention that I had a couple of people - alright, butch women - in who, while not Brighton fans, were on the Conference marches and brought one of their friends with them. She wasn't quite sure one of the songs we were singing, but sung along anyway. Afterwards she turned to her friends and said, "that was a good march, but why were they singing about sausages?"

Evidently, she thought we were singing 'Good Old Sausage By The Sea'. True.

Tinned Toms =

Mushrooms = :sick::sick:

Black pudding = :sick::sick::sick:

Other than that, any combination of the items above is fine.

Last time I had a fried breakfast was over 10 years ago, can't think of a worse way to start the day as I am a porridge/cereal/toast type of person...however, partial to it for lunch every so often and then it is a case of what will fit on the plate.

as 10cc say, not in hove
black pudding and sausages, both from canhams church road hove, the basis of any fine english breakfast. add tinned tomatoes (never ever fresh), scrambled egg, fried bread, lashings of ketchup, toast and coffee. yummy

Sausage x2, bacon x2, fried egg, fresh tomato, fried bread, mushrooms, black pud BIG mug o' tea. Never beans(if its an accident I'll have to put on Lea and Perrins) or Hash browns for me. Sauted spuds at a push. Good call for the sausage patty- fits nicely on the bread (only as a rare change, mind, as I believe it's a Scottish addition- and this is about an english fry up.[hash browns=septic])

HP, never tom Ketch.

All of these things are good.

Tho none surpasses the Croatian breakfast:

Bacon. Eggs. Jalapeno peppers. Sparkling white wine.

Marvellous breakfast scenes

Breakfast is taken very seriously here. It's quite la-di-da at the Saville residence:

Bacon (streaky of course)
Sausage (good quality, nothing resembing a dogs lipstick)
Fried egg (with black pepper)
Tomatoes (fried)
Flat cap mushrooms (oven baked with lemon juice, chilli and herbs)
Black pudding
Fried potatoes are an option. Chips are definitely not.

Toast
Red and/or brown sauce

Fresh Juice (direct from the juicer - orange, apple or my current favourite - orange, lemon and pinepaple)
Tea

The next best breakfast is ham and eggs with mustard, toast and ketchup. That rocks my world

excellent poll
chips and burger on a breakfast are a no no for me

my perfect full english =
sausage
bacon
fried eggs
tinned tomatoes though i dont always eat them
BEANs definately
Toast (or a fried slice)
mushrooms
black pudding

and some tea

Please to see that I am not the only one who believes that Worcester Sauce is the perfect condiment to the good old "full English".
