Won't mention the obvious ones already on the thread so I'll pick out Ian Chapman whacking a long-range strike in against Bournemouth.

My recollections are the game finished 3-3, the weather was lousy, things were briefly looking up on the pitch at least and I went loopy when the ball hit the net.

Can anyone else fill in any blanks for me?

NO HE'S NOT, IT WAS AT THE GOLDSTONE WE WERE 3.0 DOWN AT HALF TIME............ i was there:cool:

As was I.

You've pretty much nailed it Austrian but I'll extend on one aspect.

The weather wasn't just lousy, it was fookin appalling.
I can't tell you how long it had been raining before the match, but it pi$$ed down for the entirety of the game.

Chappers exocet thunderb*****d smashed into the back of the goal, to make it 3-3, so hard the rain that was collecting on the net sprayed out so far it 'rainbowed' through the floodlights.

It was the last thing I noticed before going batshit crazy.

Thunder Bolt

Silly old bat
The obvious ones like McShane, Virgo, Buckley and Bobster's at Leeds (all seen live) there was also the equaliser against Chelsea in the FA cup in 67, and Elliott Bennett's goal at Walsall when we knew we were Championes with games to spare. It was a cracker as well, which always goes down well.

Most recently the Charlton game last season 0:2 down......1:2 down with minutes to play....... ZAMORA and then HEMED. Still top of the league and unbeaten.
Goal number 5 v Norwich was quite possably the quietest goal for a while. "Oh dear, we've scored again".

Rescued by DR and Stat Brother! Guess it was 1993/1994.

Brady the manager? Who else scored? Decent crowd if I remember.

Another goal I'll mention is Matt Edwards' winner in the cup against Pompey.

All the obvious ones as previously mentioned.
One other goal that I can remember celebrating in exuberant fashion was Lua Lua's goal in the 2-0 win over Derby in season 2014-15. We had been under the cosh for most of the game and had gone 1-0 up against the run of play, and I was sure that Derby were going to equalise and then go on to win the game. When Kaz smashed the ball home I realised that it was our night and the 3 precious points were in the bag, and my relief manifested itself in a wild celebration which was commented on by those around me.

Not in any particular order:

- Wilkins last minute freekick against Ipswich to take us into the Playoffs, seeing Phil Parkes diving through the air like an elegant Whale still lives in the memory
- Codners goal against Millwall in the home leg of the playoffs - couldn't believe that we had just scored 4 goals and we were (practically) going to Wembley
- Chapmans screamer against Bournemouth, I was right behind it standing in the North Stand, got very bruised by all the jumping about!
- Can't remember when but we came back from 0-1 down at home to Pompey but we got 2 quick fire goals to win 2-1 in the last 10 minutes of the match
- Can't remember who scored but the equaliser to make it 2-2 against Liverpool at Anfield in the Cup in 90-91, again behind the goal when it went in!
- Bobby's goal against Leeds away last season

Buckley v Donny

Largely for the timing, the whole occasion...but i can also remember a split second hush just before the ball went in...it was like you could hear a pin drop as the whole stadium held their breath...then just collectively lost their shit.
This for me - I recall that exact same split-second silence before everyone went mental too.

It was just the perfect fairytale ending to 14 years of uncertainty since the Goldstone was taken from us, and it was the best Albion moment I've experienced live - it might be topped one day, but it would have to be something phenomenally special.

Paul Dickov scoring the winner in the 94th ish minute in a 2-1 win at home to Plymouth. It was a night match. Not sure why this sticks out, must have been the only highlight of a otherwise bad time to follow the club.

I can just remember the north stand (with me in it) going batshit crazy.

Was that the game that the advertising boards all collapsed underneath as all when we celebrated
